Farm Items for Sale

Locally farm grown products and produce

When we moved to our farm in McDonough we never thought that we would be able to offer items to the public. The number and variety of chickens grew to a point that we couldn’t use all of the eggs. Then came the ducks from a rescue organization and with them came even more eggs. We are in the process of growing a couple of bee hives to where we can harvest honey. The property has several mature pecan trees which have produced every fall. And we are hoping that we will soon have goats for sale.

Chicken eggs are currently for sale for $3.00 per dozen. Please contact us for additional information.

Duck eggs are for sale for $5.00 per dozen. Please contact us for additional information.

Pecans are typically for sale in the fall. When available they will be offered at $10 per pound. Please contact us for more information.

This seams to be an ever growing number. We currently have over 40 chickens with the 5 most recent being born here.

Yes. When the chickens are first born on the farm we move them into one of the horse stalls for a few months while they grown into a safe size to be placed with the other younger chickens. From there they go into a small chicken coop as they continue to grow. Once they start laying eggs they are then moved to the Chicken White House. These chickens have free range of the pastures and are protected by three roosters. They are locked up at night and released each morning.

We currently have two horses, a donkey, two minis, six goats, ducks, chickens, and lots of dogs and cats.

We are still trying different vegetables in our garden. We have tried corn, peas, peppers, egg plant, zucchini, and tomatoes.
